About the company: CP Yachts is a growing yacht management company based in Lymington. We provide yacht management, crew recruitment and operational support to luxury sailing and motor yachts around the world.
We're looking for an organised and enthusiastic Business Administrator to join our friendly team. This is much more than a traditional administration role. You'll be involved in many different areas of the business, from supporting yacht operations and client communications to assisting with recruitment, marketing and new projects.
The Role: This is a part or full time position.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and can be present during agreed core office hours in our Lymington office. We understand that flexibility is important, so there will also be the opportunity to work some hours from home where appropriate.
The most important thing for us is consistency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the business.
- Support the management team with reporting and operational tasks.
- Maintain accurate databases, records and company policies.
- Help ensure company procedures are followed.
- Assist with bookkeeping and accounting administration.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of crew for our managed vessels.
- Assist with social media, marketing and company communications.
- Provide general office support to help the business run smoothly.
About You
You'll be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Familiar with Apple systems, although this isn't essential.
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to get involved.
- A team player who enjoys working in a small, friendly office.
- Experienced in an administrative role.
Desirable Experience
Experience or an interest in any of the following would be an advantage:
- The marine or yachting industry.
- Recruitment.
- Bookkeeping or accounting.
- Social media and marketing.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 for full time DoE
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
