Are you an experienced 3.5T Multi-Drop Van Driver? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our Commercial Waste team. You will be responsible for the delivery, collection and maintenance of commercial waste containers, including wheelie bins, barrels and IBCs, while maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring accurate stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect wheelie bins, barrels and IBCs across the North West.
- Ensure all loads are secured safely and transported in accordance with company procedures.
- Keep the vehicle cab clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
- Maintain and store load restraint equipment correctly.
- Provide a professional, polite and helpful service to customers.
- Offer advice on our services where appropriate, in line with company procedures.
- Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
- Ensure work manifests are completed, kept up to date and submitted on time.
- Maintain accurate stock records for all equipment issued and collected.
- Assist with the organisation, cleanliness and safe operation of storage facilities.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
- Work flexibly across departments and services to meet business needs, including occasional weekend working.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B).
- ADR Certificate (Packages) – Essential.
- Previous experience as a multi-drop van driver.
- Good geographical knowledge of the North West.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- A positive attitude with a strong focus on health and safety.
