Reporting to Sports Labs Group Operations Director

Description of the role:
You will lead a established and skilled field testing and reporting department which currently consists of 17 people whom carry sports governing body accreditations and experience ranging from 9 months to 10 years.
Our technicians are located in offices around the world with a high volume of operations in the UK and Ireland.
Operating under our quality control and governing body accreditations you will manage a team undertaking and reporting field and technology tests, such as FIFA, World Rugby, FIH, ITF and World Athletics.
A key part of the role is managing our technicians and projects we undertake, through to official reporting and certification, and as a service provider ensuring we meet realistic client expectations and upload times with accuracy.
In addition, you will be responsible for a managing your team responding to enquiries, providing quotations, invoicing and sales targets.
This role includes significant people management with personal development reviews and plans, appraisals and equipment management.

Type of experience: People management, project management and technical appraisal ability. Sales and target driven performance with KPI’s. While some are essential for others enthusiasm and adaptability to perform is expected to be demonstrated.
Support and onboarding: Support will provided from senior management, peers in the department, quality control personnel and appropriate sports governing body literature. Spending time with our other department managers will be arranged and a key part of onboarding.
