Overview
We are seeking professional HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for drivers with a focus on commercial driving. The position is full-time and involves operating lorries and other commercial vehicles, requiring a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 or 2 vehicles, including Car transporter lorries Skip trucks or recovery vehicles, in accordance with road regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre-journey safety inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
- Follow planned routes efficiently, adapting to any unforeseen circumstances or delays
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence with relevant driving experience in a commercial environment
- Newly trained HGV drivers are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during long shifts
