Sales Representative – Forklift Trucks & Material Handling Equipment

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers across their assigned territory.
You will promote our range of forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, servicing packages, and associated material handling solutions to businesses across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
· Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers.
· Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and recommend suitable forklift and warehouse equipment solutions.
· Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and equipment demonstrations.
· Close sales to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
· Maintain regular contact with customers to build long-term relationships.
· Promote service contracts, maintenance agreements, parts, and fleet management solutions.
· Keep up to date with competitor activity, market trends, and new products.
· Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using the company CRM system.
· Work closely with the service, hire, and administration teams.
· Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events where required.
Requirements
· Previous experience in B2B field sales.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
· Experience selling forklift trucks or material handling equipment (desirable).
