We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Café Assistant to join our team for an average of 10.75 hours per week.
Hours will normally equate to one or two days per week on a rolling 4-week rota, with additional hours available for holiday and sickness cover. Shifts will normally be between the hours of 09:00 - 18:30, and will involve weekend and bank holiday working. The standard shifts are shown at the bottom of this page - additional shifts may be available for holiday and sickness cover as required.
You will be pivotal in providing Centre users and staff with a high-quality food and beverage service. This will include preparing food, drinks and barista coffee, taking orders and processing till payments, clearing tables, doing dishes and cleaning the kitchen and café area.
You will be expected to observe food hygiene regulations, and maintain a clean and tidy cafe environment whilst delivering the highest standard of customer service.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy café environment and cash handling, be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and be able to work on your own confidently and efficiently, however full training will be provided.

Rates of Pay:
£13.23 per hour (18+)
£10.30 per hour (16-17)
