We are seeking 50 vigilant and proactive Static Security Guards to join our team in East London for our new sites. This essential role involves maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets. As a Static Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, providing a visible security presence and responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. Your dedication will help foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere while safeguarding company property and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor designated premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accurately.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure thorough documentation.
- Perform basic first aid when needed, providing assistance in medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Requirements
- SIA Door Supervisor badge.
- IHQ Safety Certifications or willingness to obtain before joining.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.
- A responsible attitude with a focus on safety, confidentiality, and integrity.
