Pay: £12.71 per hour (starting rate)
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
We are a friendly, family-run village pub looking for a reliable and motivated Housekeeper / Breakfast Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied and hands-on role, helping to ensure our pub and guest accommodation are maintained to the highest standards while providing excellent service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Turning around and cleaning guest B&B rooms to a high standard
- Cleaning all public areas of the pub, including toilets and outdoor spaces
- Sorting and managing linen
- Assisting with light kitchen duties
- Helping to prepare and serve guest breakfasts
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the premises
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A fantastic eye for detail
- Exceptional motivation and a strong work ethic
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility with shift patterns
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, can-do attitude
- 2 years experience in a similar role
Availability Required:
Applicants must be available to work between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm. Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends is desirable.
Please Note:
This role is physically demanding and involves regular heavy lifting, so applicants must be comfortable carrying out manual handling tasks as part of their daily duties.
