Jewellery Sales Assistant

Cheshires the Jewellers is an independent, family-run business started by Mr Cheshire in 1988. We specialise in offering the finest pieces handmade by the finest craftsmen in the Jewellery Quarter. We have 3 fantastic store locations in Solihull (flagship), Chester and the historic Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Our philosophy is simple: Offer high-quality diamonds, gemstones and fine jewellery at outstanding prices whilst delivering a first class luxury in store experience.
The Role
We are looking for an individual to join our Chester store in the recently redeveloped Eastgate Square shopping Centre with proven experience of working within a luxury retail environment and possessing exceptional sales and customer service skills. Key responsibilities will include:
- One to one sales and product demonstration
- Ensure exceptional standards are achieved and maintained
- Maximise stock potential through effective merchandising and display standards, promotions.
- Ability to up-sell other products and maximise one to one sales opportunities.
- To work alongside colleagues, to maximise profits, exceed clients’ requirements and set an amazing standard of customer service.
The Candidate
This role will suit someone with a passion for results, exceptional service and a keen interest in jewellery. Displaying a professional, tactful, and friendly character you must possess a genuine interest in sales and advising customers. As a highly organised and ambitious individual you will become part of a successful team, be able to build on a strong client base through being passionate about always giving a high calibre customer service.

- Experience in jewellery retail (not essential but preferred)
- Retail experience 2 years (required)

Pay:
- £25,397 full-time equivalent
- 3 days per week (availability for more if wanted)
- Actual salary: £15,238 per annum

- 6.5 hour shift
- Day shift (0900-1600 with 30-minute lunch break)
- Weekend availability essential
Supplemental pay types:
