Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated FLT CB Operator to join our night shift team, working Monday to Thursday from 2200 to 0600. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift equipment, managing materials handling tasks, and supporting Production operations efficiently and safely. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with the relevant FLT CB operational experience
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the Production area.
- Utilise Production Management System (PMS) software to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
- Assist with goods in and receiving activities, ensuring all goods are correctly documented and stored.
- Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other Production machinery.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organisation in accordance with safety standards.
- Support load and unload operations, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Requirements
- Proven experience operating CB forklift trucks within a Production setting.
- Valid in date Independent, (in house not acceptable) FLT CB Licence
- Strong materials handling skills with attention to safety procedures.
- Ability to load and unload goods efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Basic maths skills for inventory management tasks.
- Prior Factory/Industrial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Experience:
- Solid Counterbalance FLT : 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Independent, In date CB FLT Licence (IN HOUSE NOT ACCEPTED) (required)
