Nick Lang Contracting is looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver to join our growing team.
We are seeking an experienced driver with a strong work ethic, excellent timekeeping, and a commitment to safety. This role involves day-time transport work operating modern vehicles while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of Class 1 vehicles.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Ensuring loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
- Maintaining accurate delivery and transport documentation.
- Complying with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
Requirements:
✔ Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
✔ Driver CPC Qualification Card
✔ Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations
✔ Professional and positive attitude
✔ Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
