ABOUT CALEY
Caley is a Scottish DTC golf brand founded in Edinburgh in 2019. We build premium-component iron sets and sell them direct, at roughly half the price of the big equipment brands — same materials, same quality, none of the retail markup. We're small, hands-on, and growing fast, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a Club Builder to join our small Edinburgh operations team on a part-time basis, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the business scales. You'll be hands-on every day — building clubs to spec, fulfilling customer orders, and keeping our warehouse running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone who's meticulous, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to be part of a growing golf brand from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and assemble golf clubs to order specifications — shafts, grips, lie/loft, and custom-fit builds.
- Fulfil customer orders: accurately pick, pack, and prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Manage inventory, including regular stock takes to keep counts accurate and up to date.
- Receive and check in incoming shipments of components and materials.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and running efficiently day to day.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A meticulous, detail-oriented approach — club building leaves no room for shortcuts.
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and organised, with the ability to manage your own time across varied tasks.
- A genuine interest in golf and golf equipment is a strong plus.
- Prior experience in clubmaking, warehouse operations, or order fulfilment is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person.
COMPENSATION & HOURS
Pay: £15.00 per hour.
Hours: 20 hours per week to start, part-time.
Growth: strong potential to progress into a full-time role as the team expands.
