Job Vacancy - Part time Chef Required (30 hours per week)

We are seeking a part time experienced chef with an enthusiastic can-do approach to work within our small busy village pub kitchen, serving traditional pub food.
The ideal candidate will have:
- experience of working in a commercial kitchen
- strong kitchen management skills
- the ability to work independently, under pressure and take their own initiative
- good knowledge and understanding of food and food hygiene
- good communication skills with our front of house team
- flexibility, adaptability and reliability.
Basic food hygiene certificate is essential along with a good health and safety work ethic. Cleanliness and attention to detail is paramount. Maintaining five stars with environmental health authority is a priority.
Hours will include split shifts, working weekends, evenings and bank holidays and starting salary will depend on previous experience in a busy food kitchen.
Due to our rural location own transport and living locally is essential
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
