Weekend Complex Care Healthcare Assistant – Children's Services
Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Pay: £14.00 – £22.00 per hour
Hours: Saturdays, 9:00am–5:00pm
Contract: Zero Hours Contract

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to support a child with complex healthcare needs within their own home in Uckfield.
This role offers consistent Saturday work and the opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills while supporting a child and their family. We also support other clients across West Sussex if you are looking for additional hours to those advertised.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, child-focused care.
- Support with personal care and daily activities.
- Promote safety, dignity and independence.
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Record and report any changes in the child's wellbeing.
- Work closely with family members and the wider care team.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 12 Months experience in healthcare.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driver with access to a vehicle, or ability to travel reliably using public transport.
Desirable Experience
- Children's care experience.
- Complex care experience.
- Medication administration.
- Basic Life Support.
- Moving and Handling.
- Epilepsy awareness.
Full training and competency sign-off will be provided.
