Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using hand and power tools, with expertise in fabricating and welding processes.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various techniques
- Perform mig / mma welding on sheet metal components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
Experience:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to weld using approved welding techniques
- Familiarity with working on mild metal
- Strong ability to assemble components accurately
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
