Job Summary
Libra Cleaning Services Ltd is seeking a reliable, proactive, diligent and trustworthy Cleaner to join our team, to provide daytime cleaning services at the Royal Eye Infirmary. This is an essential role in maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards within a clinical environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and understands the importance of working discreetly and professionally in a healthcare environment.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide exceptional customer service.
- Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning clinical areas, offices, restrooms and public spaces
- Following strict infection control and health & safety procedures
- Using cleaning equipment and materials appropriately and safely
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor promptly
- Working as part of a supportive cleaning team
Shift Details:
- Evening shifts 6pm-10pm
- Minimum 3 days, up to 5.
- Some weekend or bank holiday work may be available/required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience (especially in healthcare settings) is an advantage, but not essential – training will be provided
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- Understanding of infection prevention is desirable
