Commercial Gas Engineer
John Wright Electrical & Mechanical Services Ltd are one of Yorkshires largest Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Gas contractors who supply, install, commission and maintain a wide variety of services in the commercial, industrial and domestic sectors. Due to continuous expansion we are looking for a fully qualified gas engineer to join our team.
The Role:
Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking and skilled Gas Installation engineer, to our Mechanical team.
Required Attributes/Skills:
· Completion of a relevant apprenticeship; City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heating and Plumbing, along with Gas Safe CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1, COLPNG1, CCP1, CIGA1, COCN1, CORT1, ICPN1, OFT 10-101, 10-105e, 10-600a.
· Solar Thermal and any ASHP/GSHP accreditation, Part L Energy Efficiency, ‘Part P’ electrical small works is desirable.
· Unvented Qualification, WRAS, LPG & OFTEC Would be advantageous.
· Substantial experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of heating systems is essential.
· Substantial post qualification experience in a repair, inspection, diagnostics, maintenance and improvement is desirable.
· Experience of working within a large M&E contactor environment is desirable.
· Good communication skills both verbal and written, planning and organisational skills are essential.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Confident, well presented and self-motivated.
· Able to work individually or as part of a team.
