At EC Business Solutions, we're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Support Technician Apprentice to join our growing IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced business while working towards a recognised IT qualification.
No previous commercial IT experience is required – we're looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. We'll provide the training, support and real-world experience you need to build a successful career in IT.
What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside our experienced IT team, you'll:
- Provide first-line technical support to colleagues across the business.
- Help diagnose and resolve hardware, software and IT-related issues.
- Log, track and manage support requests through our service desk.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
- Assist with user account administration, password resets and access permissions.
- Help maintain IT equipment and asset records.
- Support software installations, updates and system maintenance.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting under supervision.
- Produce IT documentation and user guides.
- Learn from experienced professionals while completing your apprenticeship programme.

Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A genuine interest in IT and technology.
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- Eligible to undertake an apprenticeship (eligibility will be confirmed by the training provider).
Pay: £18,000.00 per year
