The Hertford Car Company is a well-established independent used car dealership, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Site Manager / Driver to join our growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with vehicles and can work independently while maintaining high standards across the dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day presentation and organisation of the dealership site.
- Moving and parking vehicles safely around the forecourt.
- Collecting and delivering vehicles to customers, suppliers and workshops.
- Ensuring all vehicles are clean, presentable and correctly displayed.
- Carrying out regular vehicle checks, including tyre pressures and fuel levels.
- Coordinating vehicle movements for preparation, MOTs and servicing.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the forecourt and premises.
- Assisting with general dealership duties as required.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Confident driving a wide range of vehicles, including automatic and manual.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous motor trade experience.
