Majority of the time you will be driving a HIAB vehicle up to 26t with a brick grab or hook, there will also be the opportunity of driving a 3.5t van on occasions when required.
You will deliver building material and other goods that Wickes sell in their stores. We also do other work with various builder merchants which you will be expected to cover when required.
You will be required to keep the company vehicle clean and tidy and have it washed when required to which you will be compensated for immediately.
As a Multi-Drop HIAB Driver, you will help us to provide a delivery and collection service which enables us to offer greater flexibility for our customers to have the products they need, where and when they need them.
You will deliver and collect our products to and from our customers and branches safely.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a company vehicle ensuring that Health and Safety, Road Transport and Traffic Legislation Standards are met at all times.
We work and deliver on-behalf of many well-known builders’ merchants providing an efficient and professional delivery service, but majority of the time you will deliver Wickes products.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Class 2 HGV Driving License or above
- Valid CPC
- Hiab license
- Drivers card
- Multi-drop experience
- Customer service
