Delivery Mates is expanding its Glasgow operation and is recruiting 10 E-Cargo Bike Riders to deliver parcels across Glasgow G postcodes.
We provide the electric cargo bike, so you do not need your own vehicle. Previous delivery experience is welcome but not essential. We are looking for reliable, motivated people who enjoy active outdoor work and are comfortable working independently.
This is a permanent position, with a planned start date of 21 August 2026.
Pay
95p per successfully delivered parcel.
The role is performance-based, so your actual earnings will depend on the number of successful deliveries completed and your route performance.
The £15 to £20 per hour figure displayed on Indeed represents an estimated hourly equivalent rather than a guaranteed hourly wage.
Working Pattern
- 4 or 5 days per week
- Monday to Saturday operation
- 10:30 am start
- Permanent position
- Company e-cargo bike provided
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering parcels across designated Glasgow G postcode areas
- Riding a company-provided electric cargo bike
- Following your assigned delivery route
- Completing deliveries safely, accurately and efficiently
- Using navigation and delivery technology during your route
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Following road safety regulations and company procedures
- Carrying out basic checks on your assigned bike before starting your route
- Taking responsibility for parcels while they are assigned to you
What We're Looking For
You do not need previous courier experience to apply.
You should be:
- Comfortable and confident riding a bicycle
- Physically able to complete an active outdoor delivery role
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to use a smartphone and GPS/navigation apps
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and the operational team
- Safety-conscious and aware of UK road rules
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
Previous parcel delivery, courier, food delivery or e-bike experience is an advantage, but not essential.
