About the Role
Deli 24 is looking for a driven Quality Assurance Technologist to join our technical team. In this role, you will be a key guardian of factory and product standards, ensuring our unique "High Pressure Processing" (HPP) operations strictly adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS).
As an Internal Compliance Auditor, you will monitor everything from Critical Control Points (CCPs) to traceability, ensuring our facility remains a leader in food safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Compliance Auditing: Conduct rigorous audits across GMP, traceability, hygiene, fabrication, and date coding.
· Incident Management: Root cause investigations for non-conformances and customer complaints. Manage the quarantine of materials through concessions and hold notifications.
· Validation & HACCP: Perform routine validations in line with HACCP requirements and pre-requisites. Including monthly environmental swabbing and water testing.
· Technical Investigation: Analyse out-of-specification (OOS) microbiological, results to identify trends and prevent recurrence. Customer complaints investigations.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations team to maintain daily compliance with third-party standards and customer Codes of Practice.
· Reporting: Document all findings clearly and verify that corrective actions are effectively closed out.
· QMS: Assist with maintaining the Quality Management System and Hygiene Management Systems.
Requirements
Experience: At least 1 year in a food industry production, QA, or Technical role.
Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety certification (or higher).
Skills: High fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Traits: A keen eye for detail and the ability to drive high standards within a fast-paced environment.
