Salary: circa £75,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
Following a recent company re-organisation MBDA's UK Procurement Directorate has introduced a ‘Governance and Performance' (G&P) team to support the function's drive to deliver excellence to our customers by ensuring robust governance, performance management and compliance across all of our Procurement activities.
The UK G&P Business Management Executive is a high-visibility role that contributes to the strategic direction of Procurement UK reporting to the Senior Procurement Executive Operational Effectiveness – G&P UK.
Your mission will be to create the framework for efficient, productive, and agile procurement operation. You will be overseeing process harmonisation and simplification whilst driving the transformation of the UK Procurement approach to governance. With full oversight of the processes, reporting, resources and budgets required by the UK function, you will lead your team to deliver against your strategic vision, encouraging a culture of engagement, and a reputation for excellence.
You must be able to be the bridge between strategic intent and operational reality for your team whilst influencing senior leadership across a significant stakeholder community (extending beyond just Procurement UK) in order to set clear direction and encourage new ways of working. This role is for a leader who is comfortable mastering ambiguity and taking independent ownership of activities that will deliver meaningful change.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a professional qualification from a recognised procurement association or institute, such as APICS or CIPS. However, appropriate and equivalent experience in a procurement-based position will be given due consideration.
