Full-Time Rugby Retail & E-commerce Assistant – Loanhead (near Edinburgh)
Rugbystuff.com is looking for a full-time team member to join us at our Loanhead shop, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. You'll be working across the business: serving customers on the shop floor, packing and dispatching online orders, handling stock, and helping with day-to-day operations.
Hours: Wednesday to Saturday 10:00-17:00, Sunday 11:00-16:00.
What you'll be doing
In the shop:
- Serving customers and giving good advice on boots, kit, and equipment
- Helping with fittings and product selection
- Running the till and processing transactions
- Keeping the shop floor tidy and well stocked
- Receiving deliveries and restocking
- Cleaning
Online and dispatch:
- Picking and packing online orders accurately
- Answering customer emails and phone queries
- Helping out with social media content when needed
What we're looking for
- A genuine interest in rugby and some knowledge of the kit (boots, shirts, protection, balls)
- Good with people, in person and over email/phone
- Reliable, organised, and happy to get stuck into physical tasks like stock handling and packing
- Retail experience is a bonus but not essential
- Comfortable using a computer and basic online systems
