Warehouse
We are a friendly and growing furniture import company based in Bicester (on the old Upper Heyford airbase), currently looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our day shift team.
Shift will be 9am - 5.30pm.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving the movement of heavy furniture products, both manually and using equipment such as forklifts. You’ll be joining a small, supportive team where a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely
- Handball unloading and loading of containers
- Operate forklifts (including clamp attachments) to load/unload containers
- Carry out stock replenishment across multiple buildings
- Learn to drive and operate HGV vehicles for moving trailers on-site (training provided if not already qualified)
- Connect and disconnect trailers as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Hours of work:
ALL overtime paid at "time and a half" or "double time".
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
