OLHOC Trust are looking to recruit a qualified and experience Finance Manager who will bring enthusiasm and drive to lead the development and consolidation of the Trust finance operations through the next exciting stage of growth.
The overall purpose of this post is to provide professional management and leadership of financial services for the Trust. The post holder will directly line manage the four Regional Finance and Business Partners who are each responsible for a geographical region of schools.
They will also work closely with the secondary schools and with Headteachers to ensure compliance with financial procedures, including the preparation and monitoring of individual academy budgets, and ensuring that academies comply with their statutory obligations.
The post holder will have effective responsibility for the preparation and consolidation of management accounts, financial compliance, budget preparation, audit services and financial systems and processes. They will also be involved in preparing and presenting school level reports to Local Governing Boards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager with a successful track record and the relevant finance qualifications to join our growing Trust. The successful applicant will work across all schools providing financial and administrative support via the Regional Managers. As the Trust continues to grow the number of schools will increase. The official work base will be at All Hallows Catholic College, Macclesfield although regular school visits will be required.

The ideal candidate will:
· Have significant experience of working in finance and be full or part qualified AAT / CIMA/ CIPFA/ ACCA
· Have experience of working within educational finances
· Be confident producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis with a high degree of accuracy.
· Have strong knowledge of financial controls and reconciliations.
· Demonstrate experience of line management or supporting and developing others.
· Be able to work independently and with initiative whilst valuing collaboration and teamwork.
· Have excellent communication skills and be able to present financial information clearly.
· Be highly proficient in Excel and finance systems with a strong analytical capability.
· Be proactive, organised and solutions focused with the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
· Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel
