Duties
- Assist the Preschool Supervisor in managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with safety and educational standards
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance and mentorship to maintain high-quality childcare delivery
- Foster effective communication with parents, caregivers, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child welfare
- Oversee classroom environments to ensure cleanliness, safety, and stimulating learning spaces are maintained at all times
- Participate in staff training sessions and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives
- Support emergency procedures and ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed
Skills
- Proven management and leadership abilities within early childhood or childcare settings
- Extensive experience working with children, especially in nursery or preschool environments
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Childcare qualifications or nursery experience that demonstrate your commitment to quality early education
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation needs related to preschool activities
