Band 3 -Starting as Band 2 up-banded to Band 3 once Care certificate and cannulation training is completed

The Radiology department is undergoing a lot of big changes over the next 2 years to support a bigger Interventional Radiology Service, now could not be a better time to join the team. Radiology at Royal Surrey is made up of CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, MRI, Mammography and Interventional Radiography so there is plenty to keep you busy and lots of things you can learn.
This is a patient focused role. You will assist out-patients during their time in the radiology department from transferring the patients to and from the departments, greeting them on arrival, assisting with their preparation for the examinations, and helping to provide a pleasant experience.
You will also take on some admin roles which may include, booking patients in for the appointment, stock management and room preparation for a variety of examinations. Training for all will be provided.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team. After a settling in period, you will be offered the opportunity to complete a cannulation course, which will allow you to progress to a band 3 position once competence has been confirmed.
