We are seeking a Neurological Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated team in Stockport. This vital role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy for patients with neurological conditions, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients with neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
- Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in neurological speech therapy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, preferably with a focus on neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach.
- Relevant qualifications in speech and language therapy or equivalent.
