Job Overview
We are seeking self-employed Lutontail Lift owner drivers 2 MAN TEAMS to join our dynamic delivery team. This role offers flexible working arrangements for experienced drivers who are confident in handling commercial deliveries using tail lifts and appliance installation experience. As an owner driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods across various locations, maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle safety. Duties
- Safely operate your own Lutontail Lift vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload goods using tail lift equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of items. Delivering appliances and electricals.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance activities
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during all operations
- Assist with heavy lifting when required, ensuring safe manual handling practices are followed
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations
- Previous experience operating vehicles fitted with tail lifts is highly desirable
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations will be advantageous
- Demonstrable ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for commercial driving, including relevant categories for lorry or van operation

Pay: £80.00-£270.00 per day
