Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Playground Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of playground equipment at various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to community safety, and develop specialised skills in playground construction and safety standards. Prior experience in construction, installation work, woodwork and groundworks is advantageous .
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and safety instructions to ensure accurate installation of playground equipment
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, excavating, and setting foundations according to specifications
- Safely operate tools and machinery required for installation tasks
- Assemble playground structures with precision, ensuring all components are securely fixed and compliant with safety standards
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to identify and rectify any issues
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area during and after installations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently at all times
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to read technical drawings and instructions effectively
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or equipment installation is desirable but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures related to outdoor installations
- Valid driving licence is preferred for site travel purposes
- Enhanced DBS and CSCS desirable

Pay: £25,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
