As a Dementia Buddy, you are taking on a special and rewarding role in supporting individuals living with dementia. Your primary goal is to provide companionship and understanding to help improve the quality of life for those affected by this condition in the local community.
Role Responsibilities

As a Buddy you’ll support people living with dementia to access their local community.

Work on a one to one basis

Activities to include : Sports , accessing beauty therapies, shopping trips, theatre and cinema, garden centre.

Engage, support and encourage Buddy in conversation and participation.

A commitment of once a month is required for this role.

Undertake appropriate training to role.
