Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00am - -14:30pm with overtime available regularly
About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Apprentice Dry Liner to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in construction while gaining a recognised Level 2 Interior Systems Installer (Dry Lining) Apprenticeship qualification. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of commercial and residential projects, learning all aspects of dry lining and interior systems installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installing metal stud partitions and plasterboard systems.
- Measure, cut and fix plasterboard to walls and ceilings.
- Learn to install suspended ceilings, insulation and fire protection systems.
- Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and safe site.
- Safely use hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow technical drawings and site instructions.
- Work closely with experienced dry liners to develop practical skills.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures on site.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working on construction sites.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- GCSEs in English and Maths are desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
