The Opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Store Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and is energised by growth. This person will be the driving force behind store performance, customer experience, team development, and operational excellence. Core Responsibilities :
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge across flooring, home interiors, and installation solutions.
- Drive commercial performance through effective merchandising, sales coaching, KPI management, and local marketing initiatives.
- Ensure operational excellence, including stock management, showroom presentation, installation scheduling, and compliance with company standards.
- Build strong customer relationships, ensuring every customer receives personalised guidance and a seamless end‑to‑end experience.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, creating a high‑performing, motivated team aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.
- Champion brand standards, ensuring the store reflects the quality, professionalism, and creativity of the business.
- Collaborate with leadership, providing insights, feedback, and ideas to support expansion and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven success in retail store management, ideally within flooring, home improvement, interiors, or a similar sales environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of hitting sales targets and improving store performance.
- Confident in leading teams, coaching staff, and building a positive culture.
- Skilled in customer engagement, with the ability to translate customer needs into tailored product and installation solutions.
- Excellent organisational and operational skills, including stock control, scheduling, and showroom standards.
- Comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and modern retail technology.
- Able to interpret KPIs and data to make informed decisions.
