What you'll be doing
Using meticulous care, you will ensure that all products are bought into the business to meet the high standard expected by Freshview. Ensuring goods are accurately counted, checked, labelled and put away according to the specific company procedures.
You will be working quickly and efficiently together with our Days Warehouse team to ensure all produce is ready for our nights warehouse team to help deliver the best possible service to our customers.
You will maintain a ‘clean as you go’ work environment to safeguard our excellent food hygiene standards.
This is a full-time contract, 40 hours, 5 shifts per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Based at: Freshview Foods Ltd, Unit 2 Lowfield Drive, Wolstanton, ST5 0UU.
Start and finish times are between the hours of 5am-4.30pm - flexibility is required
Your responsibilities
· Ensuring accurate receipt of goods from suppliers and confirming invoice detail on the system.
· Ensuring products brought into the business meet our high standard by quality checking the product received.
· Ensure that all stocks are kept secure and under the correct temperature conditions applicable to each type of product stored.
· Ensure that all stock is rotated thoroughly to minimise wastage.
· Ensure no food/produce is stored past its use by date and reported where applicable.
· Safe unloading of company vehicles and 3rd party vehicles in line with training and SSOW.
· Ensure that all bulk stock is placed safely and wrapped securely, and FLT is operated by qualified/trained staff.
· To ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy, by following our Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policies.
· Assisting with ALL other Warehouse duties as and when required.
Skills & experience
· You will need to work to tight deadlines and have an eye for detail.
· FLT License - Preferred
· Strong communication skills.
· Experience working with fresh produce would be desirable.
· Experience working in warehouse distribution or similar.
· Excellent time management, punctual and reliability.

Pay: £13.30-£13.80 per hour
