Role Purpose
To bring Cove Attractions’ immersive experiences to life through high-energy, interactive performance.
As an Immersive Actor / Experience Performer, you will take ownership of character-led roles, guiding participants through live, unscripted experiences where your interactions shape each group’s journey.
This role combines performance, facilitation, and live event delivery to create memorable, story-driven experiences.
The Role
This role sits at the heart of Cove Attractions’ live immersive experiences, where performance, gameplay, and guest interaction come together to create something truly unique.
You will take on character-led roles within our experiences, including our Prison Escape events at Shrewsbury Prison, bringing the environment to life through dynamic, in-character interactions. Working alongside fellow cast members, technical teams, and front-of-house, you will help deliver seamless, high-energy sessions that engage and challenge every group.
This is not a scripted or passive performance role. You will actively guide participants through the experience, delivering objectives, facilitating challenges, and shaping the flow of the game in real time. Your ability to read the room, adapt to different group dynamics, and respond instinctively is key to maintaining immersion and momentum.
While initially focused on our new Halloween event, this role forms part of a wider immersive events offering across Cove Attractions, with opportunities to support and perform in additional experiences as they are developed, including our Prison Escape Experience.
About You
You are a confident, energetic performer who thrives in fast-paced, interactive environments. You enjoy working with people, thinking on your feet, and taking the lead in live situations where no two experiences are the same.
You are comfortable managing groups, holding attention, and adapting your approach in real time to keep energy high and experiences running smoothly. You take ownership of your role, bring strong presence, and contribute positively to the wider team.
