About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our catering team. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast meals, ensuring excellent presentation, taste, and timely service. You will also need to cover the lunch cooking when the Chef manager is away.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes in line with menu specifications
- Ensure food is ready for service on time and to high standards
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices
- Set up and organise kitchen stations for breakfast service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering/stock rotation
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Work collaboratively with the wider catering team
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience, ideally in a breakfast or fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred)
- Ability to work early mornings and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in food quality
- Positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
