We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team. As the face of the hotel during overnight hours, you will ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests while helping maintain the smooth operation of the hotel throughout the night. Typical duties include guest assistance, security checks, cleaning, room setup, and supporting the night reception team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome late-arriving guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
- Conduct regular security and fire safety checks throughout the property.
- Monitor public areas and ensure the hotel remains secure overnight.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas and assist with housekeeping duties as required.
- Set up meeting rooms and event spaces for the following day.
- Assist with room service deliveries and food and beverage requests where required.
- The role is 2 nights per week but we are looking for flexabilty to cover more when there are holidays and extra hours can be sought in other departments too.
What We're Looking For

- Reliable, trustworthy, and highly organised.
- Basic IT skills and confidence handling guest enquiries.
- Previous hospitality, customer service, or security experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
