Our Chilwell site is also a flagship Kia PBV van dealership, featuring a purpose-built van showroom and dedicated workshop, making this an exciting time to join our expanding business.
We are now looking for a skilled and motivated Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our busy and successful Nottingham Service Department.
About the Role
Based at our Chilwell, Nottingham dealership, you will become an integral part of our experienced Aftersales and Workshop team.
Your day-to-day work will be varied, covering everything from routine servicing and maintenance to more complex mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
You could be working on brakes, cambelts, servicing, diagnostics and general mechanical repairs, meaning no two days are the same.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well as part of a team and is committed to maintaining high standards in a busy workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Carrying out brake replacements and repairs.
- Cambelt replacements.
- Completing vehicle inspections and general mechanical repairs.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately.
- Following manufacturer and dealership repair procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Completing all work efficiently and to the required standard.
- Working effectively as part of the wider Workshop and Aftersales team.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician who meets the following criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Competent across a wide range of mechanical tasks.
- Experience with servicing, brakes, cambelts, diagnostics and general repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop.
- A reliable and professional approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine desire to develop your skills and career.

Working Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Every other Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
