We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Part-Time Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Beckton Pharmacy.
This is a permanent position for approximately 20 hours per week, with working days/hours to be agreed.
The Role
You will work alongside our pharmacists and pharmacy team to support the safe and efficient running of the dispensary. Duties will include:
- Dispensing NHS and private prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Preparing prescriptions for collection
- Ordering, receiving and putting away stock
- Managing repeat prescriptions
- Liaising with patients, GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals
- Supporting the pharmacist with the day-to-day running of the dispensary
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient dispensary
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will:
- Have previous experience working in a community pharmacy
- Hold a recognised Pharmacy Dispenser qualification (Level 2 or equivalent) or be working towards one
- Be confident using pharmacy dispensing systems
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Be organised, accurate and able to work well as part of a team
- Be dependable and have a positive attitude towards your work
Experience using ProScript Connect would be beneficial but is not essential.
Hours
20 hours per week
There may also be opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays and staff absence.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate – dependent on experience and qualifications.
