We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers and clients across designated routes
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to manage stock within the warehouse, including stocking shelves and organizing inventory
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Verify delivery documentation, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory checks, stock replenishment, and order picking
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific procedures
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently
