Join Elexon as a Communication & Governance Support Administrator and help support key communications, governance activity and document management processes across critical UK energy market schemes.
We’re looking for a Communication & Governance Support Administrator (Grade 8) to join the EMR Settlement Services (EMRS) team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
In this role, you’ll provide administrative, communications and governance support across the Capacity Market (CM), Contracts for Difference (CfD) and Nuclear RAB schemes. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, senior leadership and external partners to coordinate meetings, manage controlled documentation and support customer communications across multiple channels.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
Draft and quality check customer communications, newsletters and digital content
Support website, portal and LinkedIn updates
Produce and review PowerPoint materials for internal and external audiences
Coordinate governance meetings, agendas, papers, actions and presentation materials
Attend meetings and produce accurate and timely minutes
Support meeting scheduling, logistics and stakeholder coordination
Review and manage tracked changes documents and version-controlled content
Publish and maintain website and document content in line with release deadlines
Support ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 document management activities
Liaise with Project Managers, SMEs and stakeholders to support successful project and release delivery
Support continuous improvement across governance and document management processes
What you’ll bring:
Experience in an administrative, governance or communications support role
Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
Experience producing meeting minutes and coordinating meetings
Advanced Microsoft Word skills including Track Changes
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
A proactive, flexible and can-do attitude
Experience with SharePoint, CMS platforms or document management systems (desirable)
Experience working within regulated or operational environments (desirable)
