Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and Punctual individual to join kitchen team
The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for all washing up and cleaning tasks within the kitchen and working within a team during the busy Weddings and Events Schedule
will also be involved and play a key role in the preparation of foods For Weddings and Events Including Buffets for large quantities of Guests
Preparation and Cooking of Hot Breakfasts for Guests
This Role will include regular shifts at weekends throughout the year and with occasional shifts during the week , Hours and shifts flexible potentially around candidates other employment etc
Duties
- Washing up of all kitchen Crockery, utensils pots and pans using pass through dishwasher
- Cleaning and tidying of all kitchen and store areas including kitchen equipment
- Ensuring all food hygiene practices are kept to
- To maintain high level of cleanliness and compliant with health and safety
- To assist in food preparation
- Assist chefs with related tasks during busy periods
- Checking deliveries and storing foods and equipment
Ideal Candidate
Will be enthusiastic and able to work under pressure and be willing to learn in other aspects within the kitchen including cooking and food preparation
