We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. Key Responsibilities
- Kitchen Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen, including equipment, work surfaces, floors, storage areas, and wash-up areas.
- Kitchen Operations: Support the kitchen team with daily preparation, deliveries, stock rotation, waste management, and general kitchen duties.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures, helping to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and front-of-house teams to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training, performance appraisals, and development opportunities to build your skills and progress within the business.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience working in a busy kitchen, restaurant, pub, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
- Standards Focus: A strong understanding of cleanliness, organisation, and maintaining high standards within a professional kitchen.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working standard hospitality shift patterns across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Communication: Good communication skills with a positive, team-first attitude.
