What You Will Do

Support the day-to-day operation of the College's catering services, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times.

Lead, motivate and supervise team members throughout your shift, delegating tasks and ensuring work is completed effectively.

Assist with the training and development of new and existing team members.

Work closely with managers and colleagues to drive operational efficiency and continuously improve service delivery.

Ensure all health, safety, food hygiene and COSHH procedures are followed and maintained.

Monitor equipment and work areas to maintain a safe, clean and well-organised environment.

Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a positive experience for pupils, staff and visitors.

Assist with hospitality and catering events across the College as needed.
What You Bring

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within catering, hospitality or customer service.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and develop team members.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Good organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

Sound computer skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.

A strong understanding of health and safety requirements and the importance of leading by example.
