CNC Saw Operator
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a competent, hardworking, CNC Saw Operator to join our established team. As a CNC Saw Operator, you will be learning to use a CNC twin blade mitre saw, setting and operating, and learn to output to a high level of workmanship standards. Skills & Experience Required:
- Good Personal Skills and Appearance - Present yourself professionally with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Understanding of Health and Safety - Basic knowledge of safety regulations in a workshop environment.
- Effective Communication - Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong Mathematical Ability - Good numeracy skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with Hand Tools and Measuring Equipment - Competent in using tools and equipment for machining tasks.
- Ability to Read Technical Drawings - Understand and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Attention to Detail - Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all work.
- Reliability and Punctuality - Consistently dependable and on time for work and tasks.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Industry Experience - Previous experience in the windows and doors industry is advantageous.
- Basic CNC Knowledge - Familiarity with CNC machining or manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to Learn - Open to developing new skills through in-house training.
- Teamwork Skills - Ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Use Hand Tools and Measuring Equipment - Accurately measure and handle components to maintain correct tolerances.
- Interpret Technical Drawings - Read and follow engineering drawings to produce precise components.
- Maintain Health and Safety Standards - Follow safety guidelines and keep the workshop environment safe.
- Inspect Finished Parts - Check components for quality and accuracy before assembly.
- Collaborate with Team Members - Work closely with colleagues to achieve production goals.
- Maintain Tools and CNC Machinery - Keep machines and tools clean, maintained, and in good working order.

Salary is based on working contractual hours of 41.5 hrs per week, with OTE more with overtime is available.
Salary will be dependant on experience.
