Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair
- Take orders from guests promptly and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments and giving correct change using basic math skills
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all drinks are prepared in a hygienic manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and assist in setting up or closing down the bar as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with serving techniques and beverage presentation is a plus
