About Us:
We are a well-established serviced apartment (aparthotel) provider, offering high-quality accommodations in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance / Handyman to join our team and ensure our apartments remain in excellent condition for our guests.
Job Responsibilities:
Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the property, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their stay.
Troubleshoot and fix minor issues with appliances, fixtures, and fittings.
Work closely with the housekeeping team and property manager to address any maintenance-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and inspections.
Coordinate with external contractors when necessary for larger maintenance tasks.
Travel between different properties across London may be required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a similar handyman role.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs, preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, prioritizing tasks as needed.
Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required.
Schedule:
· 40 hours per week guaranteed
· Overtime availability
· Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required
· Hours to go up to 40 hours per week, depending on workload
