The is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Cafe Manager, overseeing the successful running of the Forge Café; from overseeing a fabulous front of house team, to service and quality ensuring the best possible standards for our customers. The role is permanent, full time between the hours of 8.30am -5pm working Tuesday to Saturday (Closed Sunday and Monday).
The Ironworks is a dynamic family destination which encompasses sculpture parks, trails, events, retail, food & beverage operations. The Ironwork's is multifaceted, with different teams managing different aspects to ensure the highest standards and quality are maintained.
This will be a great opportunity for an existing Assistant Manager wishing to work within an ambitious setting. The Ironwork's continues to develop and evolve so there will be future development for the right person. We have an excellent working environment and team spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the Forge Café and continually driving the best possible standard of food and beverage
- Develop relationships with our valued members and customers
- All aspects of running a dynamic & Café from:
- Ordering and stock control, rotas and team management
- Front of house duties including sales, standards and cleaning
- Maintaining hygiene and health and safety standards
Required skills and attributes
We will provide training, however we are looking for someone with experience with speciality coffee and cafe management.

Experience:
- Team management: 1-2 year (preferred)
