About Us
TMR Service S/W Ltd is a growing roofing and property maintenance contractor operating throughout the South West of England.
We work with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Main Contractors and Commercial Clients, delivering reactive maintenance, planned works, roofing renewals and specialist roofing services.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of our expansion.
This is not a traditional sales role. We are looking for an individual with existing industry contacts and a proven track record of securing new business opportunities within the housing, construction, roofing or property maintenance sectors.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision makers and securing long-term recurring revenue streams throughout the South West.
You will be expected to actively generate new opportunities, attend industry events, identify framework opportunities and establish TMR Service S/W Ltd as a preferred contractor within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Main Contractors and Framework Providers.
- Identify and secure framework opportunities.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and meet-the-buyer events.
- Arrange and attend meetings with key decision makers.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Maintain CRM records and sales reporting.
- Work closely with operational teams to convert opportunities into secured contracts.
- Represent TMR Service S/W Ltd professionally throughout the South West.
Essential Requirements
- Proven business development experience within construction, roofing, housing, property maintenance or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of the roofing industry and associated services.
- Demonstrable track record of winning new business.
- Existing industry contacts and relationships.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Experience
- Housing Association sector experience.
- Local Authority sector experience.
- Framework experience.
- Existing relationships with procurement teams, asset managers or property services professionals.
Salary & Bonus Structure
- £60,000 Basic Salary.
- Company Vehicle.
- Mobile Phone and Laptop.
- £500 bonus for every new client account secured and actively trading.
- 1% commission on revenue generated from accounts personally introduced and secured.
- Commission paid quarterly on invoices received and paid by the client.
- Commission payable on introduced accounts for the first 24 months of the client relationship.
Performance Expectations
This is a senior appointment and monthly performance targets will be in place.
The successful candidate will be expected to generate new opportunities, develop strategic relationships and secure recurring revenue streams for the business.
Our expectation is that the successful candidate will secure a minimum of £1 million of new revenue within their first 12 months whilst establishing a sustainable pipeline to support the continued growth of TMR Service S/W Ltd.
Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate previous business development successes and provide examples of contracts, frameworks or client relationships they have secured.
Realistic Earnings
- OTE £70,000 - £120,000+
